Within a short time the human race may begin to shrink.
The picture is of a life-like female robot. The development of near human robots is ramping up quickly at this point. Within 15 years there will be even more human-like robots that walk, talk and have artificial intelligence programmed into the computer brain.
These robots will be readily available and at reasonable prices. They are being made as female and male reproductions. They will be able to look and act any way a person desires. People will design their perfect mate that will never anger or disappoint them. Human interaction will no longer be necessary to have a relationship. Robots will be able provide any sexual desire a man or woman could want.
If you don't think so, look at what the smart phone has done to change us. We can be at a family gathering and some will be using their phones as much or more than visiting. Restaurants have people out with friends or on dates and they are bouncing their fingers on smart phones. At the casinos, people are constantly on their phones. In the grocery store people are on their phones likely speaking to someone who should be there with them.
At some point it will be near total interaction between he/she and his/her custom built robot. The human race may shrink away to extinction. It is not as far-fetched as you may think.
