We were sitting here having a few brews this afternoon and thinking about our experiences in life and came to a realization. Between living in navy towns and California, Oklahoma, Missouri our life has changed. We have been lucky enough to have known and befriended conservatives, liberals, Indians (from the country India), African Americans, Muslims, Native Americans, gays, lesbians, Italians, Irish, cowboys, Jews, Filipinos, Vietnamese, southerners, Chinese, Japanese, Lebanese, Korean, Singaporean, English, German, sailors, marines.
We live in a very staunch, conservative republican area, yet since living in rural Missouri, our views have become more liberal than ever. For every class of people mentioned above we have met very good people and very bad ones too. Suffice to say there are more good than bad and an asshole is an asshole no matter what their ancestry may be.
