Today at Walmart it was raining outside
So going in we stepped up our stride
A lone worker was out in the rain
Trying to gather carts again
These are the guys who make America work
Not like some stock broker Wall Street jerk
The conservatives think they know the way
When they never had the dues to pay
A plumber, nurse, beautician, real estate broker has to pass a test
But a congressman or president only needs to be a citizen at best
Business runs the country and doesn’t do it well
If we are to survive, only time will tell
I can only hope that things will turn out correct
But with things as they are, what can we expect?
