It’s funny how some people are
Some are friendly, some stay afar
I like those who are pleasant and having a good day
While with those who aren’t, I just turn away
Some seem to relish their bad attitude
Perhaps their thinking entitles them to be rude
I like those who can work up a smile
Even if just for a little while
It costs nothing to recognize another being
And so far, good results I’ve been seeing
