There were more flowers blooming on the farm today, but the wind kept me from getting a good picture. This is the purple-leaf Sand cherry.
This tulip is one of the very few that ever came back season after season. The Missouri conservation people say that in this area tulips should be considered as annuals, not the perennial bulbs they are. I wish I had known that before I planted hundreds of them around the farm.

This is just to show we aren't flower power hippie children and we love Joyce's baked chicken.
