Strange But True

Wednesday the fifth of November we were in Oklahoma at the sovereign Native American nations for some gambling and drinking fun. We stopped at the smoke shop to purchase some cigarettes (made here in America in Oklahoma) when I reached into my pocket and paid the girl at the counter and because the bills stuck together gave her an extra twenty. She called me back and handed me the extra twenty. I took it and gave her a five for a tip for her kindness. She told me I didn't need to do that and I replied I did need to because I believe in karma. Later that evening we were at the Buffalo Run casino when I again had two ten dollar bills stick together when I was paying the cocktail waitress for our drinks. She too told me about my mistake, so I tipped her extra for her kindness. My point here is that there are still honest and kind people showing themselves in a world when I was beginning to have doubts about the general public working at jobs these days. Both events cost me a bit for my mistakes, but I felt so good about the two events that they made my day. Not just one honest woman, but two in one day. There is hope for this world and both women really did made my day.
