Fall is Here

A sure sign of fall is the emergence of what we call walking sticks. These guys can be still as a dead twig, but can pinch your hand if you mess with them. This one happened to fall out of an overhanging tree this afternoon.

Our last batch of marigolds and I am surprised they lasted through the summer.

This was a pleasant surprise when the garlic chives melded with some Russian sage.

The wasps and a very strange type of bee are chowing down on the garlic chives.

This big red wasp seems to like the taste of garlic.
