Painting Done Now PhotographyFun

We finally finished the painting and got our lives back together today. That gave me a few minutes to take some flower pictures to share tonight.

I think this iris is spectacular.
This close up is a wild daisy that has spread all over the farm.
This is just one patch of dozens all over here now.
These are just humble chives grown in the garden, but when they produce their flowers they are hard to beat.
Our sage is favored by bees, humming birds and butterflies. They tell me our sage is the best in the area.

This thyme has nice flowers and is used in salad dressing and in soups and in some meat dishes.
Our weigela plant is a sure bloomer every spring. Birds often nest in it. One spring we had a baby horned owl that spent two weeks living in there.
