Wednesday July 3, 2013 I was thinking today that when I was young and reading books or watching movies, everything before my eyes seemed not only possible, but I thought I could do the same feats of courage or strength. Now that I am an old man, everything before my eyes seems like feats of skill and courage that I could never do or survive. The truth of it is, I could never have done those things but I felt a lot better when I dreamed of doing it as a youth.
