Lost in Thought

I was deep in thought this afternoon.

When I was in the navy years ago, there was a Torpedo man second class (I do not remember his name) that did a kindness for me that I cannot ever repay now.

There are so many people in my life that have helped me through their kindness over the years.

They may or they may not have realized what they did at the time.
They helped me when I was down.
There are many who helped me by their lack of kindness.
They helped me grow.
I am grateful to them all.
