The Sentinel May 8, 2007 Late Edition

I watched the news tonight and was shocked that there was a terrorist attack planned on Fort Dix. The FBI arrested the six planners before they could execute the plan. It reminded me of the ongoing Bush claim that the right thing to do is fight the terrorists in Iraq so we don’t have to fight them here on American soil. Well is it just me or does this news story today and all the previous stories of plots thwarted on US soil tell us that Bush’s war is failing badly? His notion of fighting them over in Iraq to stop them from attacking here is clearly not working!

I think it’s time to bring the troops home to defend the homeland before we lose the war at home. We have wide-open borders here that criminals are exploiting and helping terrorists enter the country. The opportunities for terrorism here are far more dangerous than anything that could ever happen in Iraq. Mr. Bush has totally fowled up any chance of winning in Iraq; let’s bring the troops home to defend our nation before he loses the war at home too.
