The orchard trees drop fruit to feed the deer
evening sightings make that very clear
the leaves in the woods are falling away
eliminating cover where the deer like to lay
the coyotes are howling on this moonlit night
the deer are concerned about their plight
If a leaf falls from a tree in the yard
and no one hears it
do I still have to rake it up?
